Podiatry Care Close to Home
A podiatrist, or a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM), specializes not only in the medical and surgical care of feet, but treats the ankle and lower leg as well. Minor issues that may flare up for a short period of time, such as ingrown toenails, may still require the services of a podiatrist before progressing into worse problems. Patients experiencing chronic conditions, such as diabetic foot care, or injury to their feet, ankles, and/or lower legs would benefit greatly from the expertise of a DPM.
