Meadville Medical Center’s Congestive Heart Failure Clinic
Heart failure is a chronic condition in which your heart is unable to pump the amount of blood your body needs, instead allowing it to build up over time. This creates a collection of fluid in your legs, feet, and/or lungs. Heart failure is a significant public health problem in the United States, with over 6 million people affected. The purpose of MMC’s Congestive Heart Failure Clinic is to provide the treatment needed to help slow down progression of your heart failure.
