Mission and Current Residents
Meadville Medical Center’s residency program has long been viewed as a supportive and diverse place to learn and grow. Residents are taught to deliver evidence-based, cost-effective healthcare, while developing strong ties to their communities. Self-study and independent learning are supported and encouraged, with a full lecture schedule each week and guided learning experiences assigned monthly. The Meadville community offers the unique ability to work in a rural, independent hospital with access to a full roster of specialists who have a strong passion for education.
Meadville Medical Center’s 2023-2024 postgraduate physicians are listed in this pdf document.
Residency Application Process
Application deadline via ERAS is December 31, 2023.
- We participate in ERAS and NRMP.
- We do not require a graduation cut-off date, but we do expect applicants to demonstrate continuous improvement of medical knowledge.
- We would like to see three (3) recommendation letters.
- Recommend at least one letter be from a family medicine physician.
- A letter is not required from a family medicine rotation.
- A clinical rotation in the U.S. is not required.
- Interviewed applicants must pass USMLE Step 2 CK/CS or COMLEX Level 2 to be ranked.
