If antibody screen is positive, an “Antibody Identification, RBC Antibodies, Plasma” will be performed. If indicated, further testing will result in additional charges.

Specimen Requirements:
SAMPLE MUST ARRIVE WITHIN 4 HOURS OF DRAW.
1 pink-top (EDTA) tube (minimum: 6.0 mL of EDTA whole blood). Forward promptly at ambient temperature only.
NOTE:
SPECIMEN IS NOT ACCEPTABLE WITHOUT IDENT-A™ BLOOD SYSTEM.
SST tube is not acceptable.
Do not centrifuge.
Specimen is saved for 3 days.
