Specimen Requirements: SAMPLE MUST BE ANALYZED WITHIN 24 HOURS OF DRAW
1 lavender-top (EDTA) tube (minimum: 2.0 mL of EDTA whole blood) or 1 lavender-top microtainer tube (fill to second line) for pediatric use. See “Specimen Collection and Preparation” for microtainer use. Forward promptly at room temperature.
NOTE: Specimen should be refrigerated if unable to be analyzed within 8 hours.
