Useful For:
In pregnancy, antibody titration is performed to identify women with significant levels of antibodies that may lead to hemolytic disease of the fetus and newborn, and for low-titer antibodies, to establish a baseline for comparison with titers found later in pregnancy.

Methodology: Micro Testing System (MTS)

Specimen Requirements:
SAMPLE MUST ARRIVE WITHIN 4 HOURS OF DRAW.
1 pink-top (EDTA) tube (minimum: 6.0 mL of EDTA whole blood). Forward promptly at ambient temperature only.

NOTE:
SST tube is not acceptable.
Do not centrifuge.
Samples will be frozen for subsequent titrations.

2 days
