About the Meadville Medical Center Foundation
Founded in 1992, the Meadville Medical Center Foundation was established to meet the identified healthcare needs in the region. The primary focus of the Foundation is to advance the long-term health of the community by funding new services and equipment at the Meadville Medical Center.
The Foundation has supported over 30 important projects, ranging from pieces of equipment, new services, or large building renovations. Each project has made a lasting impression which has resulted in more than 45,000 treatments annually at MMC. All of this is made possible by generous donors who have supported these projects. At the Foundation, we are forever grateful for this generosity and trust. It is safe to say that the majority of families in Crawford County have been impacted in some way by donations made through the Meadville Medical Center Foundation.

How Your Donations Help Founded in 1992, the Meadville Medical Center Foundation has raised more than $10 million in support of 40 projects. These funds have been donated by nearly 4,500 community members who share in a passion to advance healthcare in our communities. Unlike many nonprofits, the Foundation is fortunate to have all expenses covered by the health system which means 100% of every donation is spent exactly as a donor chooses. Know that when you give to the Foundation you are playing an important role in getting critical healthcare services to those who need them the most! For this, we are incredibly grateful for your support! MMC Foundation Donors, Dick and Linda Astor Dick and Linda Astor are supporters of
Nourishing Recovery
Nourishing Recovery, The LouAnn Flick Memorial Fund was established to support two of LouAnn’s passions – supporting cancer patients undergoing treatment and nutrition. Proper nourishment can have a significant impact on a patient’s well-being and quality of life while undergoing treatment. The nutrition counseling offered to patients through the dieticians at the Center for Community Wellness is an excellent resource for patients to receive advice and support for making good nutritional decisions during and after treatment. Who was LouAnn Flick? For Louise Ann (LouAnn) Flick, nourishing others was truly a way of life. Whether it was nourishment from food cooked with love, her contagious smile, or her heartfelt and empathetic words, she exemplified the meaning of selflessness, constantly putting the
