Donating to a Specific Cause
When making a contribution for a specific cause, make the check out to the Meadville Medical Center Foundation and note the cause on the memo line. We have three major campaigns for which we are raising funds (below). Ongoing causes include the benevolent funds listed below and the LouAnn Flick Memorial Fund (Nourishing Recovery), among others.

Benevolent Funds
General Benevolent Fund
This fund helps those from our community who are uninsured or underinsured, and gives patients peace of mind knowing that help is available when they need it most.
Oncology Benevolent Fund
Contributions to the Oncology Benevolent Fund helps patients of the Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute during their time in need, whether it is to assist in purchasing medication that is not covered by insurance, providing transportation to appointments, or other needs they have encountered. Oncology patients have peace of mind knowing that financial help is available while they are undergoing treatment.

Foundation
The Meadville Medical Center Foundation was established to meet the identified healthcare needs in the region. The primary focus of the Foundation is to advance the long-term health of the community by funding new services and equipment at the Meadville Medical Center.
