Meadville Medical Center (MMC) has opened a new service location: Shenango Valley Outpatient Services — A Department of Meadville Medical Center, 3055 Innovation Way, Hermitage, PA 16148.

Open to see patients:

  • Gynecology – Douglas MacKay, MD
  • Pain Management – Ankur Gosalia, MD and David DeChellis, DO

Douglas MacKay, MD is a board-certified gynecologist accepting new patients at Mercer Community Health Center and Shenango Valley Outpatient Services. He completed medical school at Ohio State College of Medicine and his residency at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Ankur R. Gosalia, MD is an ACGME fellowship-trained and ABA board-certified anesthesiologist and interventional pain medicine physician. He attended medical school at the former Hahnemann University Hospital (now Drexel School of Medicine) and was Chief Resident during his time at University of Pennsylvania. He went on to complete a fellowship at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh.

David DeChellis, DO has a background in physical medicine and rehabilitation. He attended medical school at LECOM and completed his residency with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He remained in Pittsburgh for a fellowship at West Penn Hospital, and is board-certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with a subspecialty in pain medicine

Drs. Gosalia and DeChellis treat a variety of chronic pain conditions, including arthritis, fibromyalgia, headaches and facial pain, neuropathy, and sciatica.
