
Meadville Medical Center’s Congestive Heart Failure Clinic was recognized by Becker’s Hospital Review in a recent article called, “Real-World Health Innovation: Rural Hospitals Lead the Way.” The article, developed in collaboration with the American Heart Association, highlighted the efforts of rural hospitals and the AHA’s Rural Health Care Outcomes Accelerator, which is a national initial helping to provide education and learning opportunities for rural providers.
MMC’s Congestive Heart Failure Clinic was noted for achieving a near 400% improvement in follow-up compliance through the efforts of this outpatient clinic.
