Brian Karlovits, DO
Chief of Oncology Services
Radiation Oncologist
Dr. Karlovits earned his medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic
Medicine in Kirksville, MO, completed his internship in transitional medicine
at the Naval Medical Center, San Diego, CA, and graduated from the Naval
Aerospace Medical Institute, Pensacola, FL, as a naval flight surgeon.
He completed his residency in radiation oncology at Allegheny General
Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Karlovits joined the Yolanda G. Barco Oncology
Institute from the Hillman Cancer Center, UPMC Shadyside Hospital where
he was Clinical Director of Radiation Oncology. He is board certified
in radiation oncology, treats all disease sites, and specializes in stereotactic
body/ablative radiotherapy (SBRT/SABR), intensity modulated radiotherapy
(IMRT), and volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT). He has a specific
interest in lung and anorectal cancers.
Jason Wayne Brown, MD
Director of Medical Oncology

Dr. Brown earned his medical degree from MCP Hahnemann School of Medicine
in Philadelphia, PA. He completed both his internal medicine internship
and residency training, as well as a fellowship in hematology/oncology,
at the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Brown is board
certified in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology. He has
a specific interest in lung cancers and serves as the disease site leader.
Eric Svenson, MD
Director of Radiation Oncology
Dr. Svenson earned his medical degree from the University of Florida College
of Medicine in Gainesville, FL. He completed a traditional rotating internship
at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital (University of Virginia Affiliated),
and his residency and fellowship at M.D. Anderson Hospital & Tumor
Institute, University of Texas System Cancer Center in Houston, TX. He
is board certified in Radiation Oncology, and a Clinical Assistant Professor
of Radiology at Northeast Ohio Medical University and Adjunct Clinical
Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery/Radiology at Lake Erie
College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Calvin Han, MD

Dr. Han earned his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of
Medicine in Saint Louis, MO. He completed both his internal medicine residency
and a fellowship in hematology/oncology at the Albert Einstein College
of Medicine in Bronx, NY. He is a member of the American College of Physicians
and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Han is board certified
in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology. He has a specific
interest in colorectal cancers and serves as the disease site leader.
Gurleen Pasricha, MD
Director of Breast Oncology Services

Dr. Pasricha earned her medical degree from Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College,
India. She completed both her internal medicine residency and a fellowship
in hematology/oncology at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
Dr. Pasricha is board certified in internal medicine, hematology, and
medical oncology. She has a specific interest in breast cancer and in
women’s health, and serves as the disease site leader as Director
of Breast Oncology Services.
Thomas Young, MD
Hematologist & Oncologist
Dr. Young earned his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine
in Philadelphia, PA. He completed both his internal medicine internship
and residency training at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA,
and completed a fellowship in hematology/oncology at the University Hospitals
of Cleveland in Cleveland, OH. Dr. Young is board certified in internal
medicine, hematology, and medical oncology.
Jennifer Orzano-Birgani, MD
Hematologist & Oncologist
Dr. Birgani earned her medical degree from Georgetown University School
of Medicine in Washington, DC. She completed her internal medicine residency
at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Miami, FL and completed a fellowship in
hematology/oncology at the National Cancer Institute and National Naval
Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. Dr. Birgani is board certified in internal
medicine, hematology, and medical oncology.
Talal Khan, MD

Dr. Khan received his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.)
from Shifa College in Islamabad, Pakistan. He completed his internal medicine
residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, and completed
a fellowship in hematology/oncology at the University of Toledo in Toledo,
OH. Dr. Khan is board certified in internal medicine, hematology, and
medical oncology. He has a specific interest in cancers of the genitourinary
tract like bladder, prostate, kidney and ureters, and serves as the disease
site leader.
