We need your help with pulmonary, respiratory and emergency departments!

The past two years have been some of the most challenging times healthcare has ever faced.

Throughout the pandemic, we have seen ever-changing regulations, elevated use of personal protective equipment, staffing shortages and severly ill COVID-19 patients and the need for hospital beds exceeding capacity. Frontline workers have demonstrated tremendous courage month after month. They remain committed to serving the community even in the most difficult of circumstances.

We need your help in creating a better environment for our staff and patients. Outside the emergency department, you will see a temporarily trailer. This is an overflow area for patients needing essential outpatient services such an antibody administration allowing for expansion of emergency services that are so desparately needed. This is just a temporary solution; however, we need a more permanent solution.

In addition to capactiy issues in the ICU and the Emergency Department, the demand for pulmonary and respiratory services has increased by leaps and bounds. The pulmonary office needs to expand within the next year, and a plan is underway to relocate varous departments to create needed space at the Liberty Street facility.

As you might expect, expanding clinical services is extremely costly!

Relocating and expanding the pulmonary department is estimated to be a $1.3 million project.

The pandemic has taken a toll on everyone. We need the community's support now more than ever. Your donation will not only help increase capacity, but it will also enable our clinicians to continue to provide the highest-level of care that our community has come to expect and deserves!
