Meadville, PA - Meadville Medical Center (MMC) announced today that it
has signed a new contract with UPMC Health Plan that provides Tier 1 in-network
access to Meadville Medical services, whether elective or emergency, for
many UPMC Health Plan members.
The contract includes Meadville Medical Center and all Meadville owned
physician practices and applies to Medicare, Medicaid, and most commercial
plans and is effective immediately.
Members receive the highest level of benefits and lowest out-of-pocket
costs under their plan when they receive care from Tier 1 doctors and
hospitals.

Health Plan will now have the ability to choose from an array of advanced
health services and skilled physicians available at our Meadville Medical
