Meadville, PA - Meadville Medical Center (MMC) announced today that the
family medicine residency clinic previously located at the Conneaut Valley
Health Center will be relocated to 640 Alden Street in Meadville, effective
Monday, May 14.
The new location enables the hospital's residency program to more effectively
serve primary care patients while enhancing the overall residency program.
It will also enable MMC to better meet national standards for graduate
medical education training programs.
Eight family medicine residents and four preceptor physicians will be housed
in the new Alden Street site, where the Meadville Dental Center also has
been located since January 2017.
Frank McLaughlin, DO, FAAFP, Director of Community Health, Hospitalist
Medicine and Medical Education at MMC, oversees the family medicine residency
program. He is assisted by Joseph Wendekier, DO, Drew Lynne, DO, and Kristy
Netkowicz, DO, as preceptors.
Current patients will receive a postcard and telephone reminders regarding
the relocation in addition to newspapers advertisements.
