Campaigns have been used to purchase
equipment and fund programs which
otherwise may not have been available
for our patients. Three state-of-the-art
anesthesia machines for the Surgery and
Anesthesia departments were purchased.
Surgery patients will benefit from this
new equipment as monitoring of vital
body functions is substantially
increased. Pediatric, chronic lung
disease and asthmatic patients will
especially benefit from the enhanced
ventilator system of these machines.

| The ABBI system is a
wonderful alternative to general breast
biopsies. The system uses highly
accurate imaging technology that enables
doctors to quickly see a suspicious area
and remove a biopsy specimen. This
procedure requires only local
anesthesia, is performed on an
outpatient basis and helps reduce
patient discomfort disfigurement and
anxiety. |
