Water Street ExpressCare facility treats non-emergency and emergency patients. The practice, along with Meadville Workplace Health and ExpressCareVernon, will work in conjunction with the MMC Emergency Department so that actual life-threatening cases can be dealt with immediately, forming an extraordinary service network.
Meadville Medical Center provides X-ray and lab services Water Street ExpressCare while the medical side of the practice is run independently by physicians Tom Mitchell, MD; Kevin Kraeling, DO; Peter Lultschik, MD; and Lawrence Newhook, MD. The support staff there is skilled and experienced and part of our community. They offer fast, efficient courteous service with no appointment needed. Also, a direct communications network with Meadville Medical Center will ensure the fastest possible service without delays. If appointments are desired, patients may make them by phone or, eventually, by internet. Prescriptions will be filled from a formulary on-site sometime in the future.
Water Street ExpressCare will treat sprains, broken bones, lacerations, muscle strains, and burns. Illnesses and conditions such as colds, flu, viruses, bronchitis, pneumonia, asthma, dehydration, and allergic reactions may be treated at the ExpressCare, as well. Also offered are physicals, immunizations and vaccinations, flu and allergy shots, EKGs, digital x-rays, lab work, IV fluids, health screenings, physical exams, physician referrals and diagnostic scheduling for further care.
